Ryan & Rana Ogden - Lead Pastor

In August of 2005 Ryan and Rana moved to Valdosta to start a new church.  In June of 2006 New Point Church was chartered as a Church of God Congregation.  Prior to coming to Valdosta Ryan served in various capacities as a children's pastor, youth pastor, and associate pastor.  Ryan and Rana have been married since 2000.  Rana is a former elementary school teacher and continues to serve at New Point as the teacher of the Tunes for Tots class.  The Ogden's have 2 boys Canon and Coby.  Read Ryan's Blog.

Justin & Jennifer Joiner - Worship Leader / Nursery Director

Justin and Jennifer have been at New Point since February 2006.  Prior to joining the staff Justin and Jennifer served New Point as elders.  Justin is the Worship Leader for our Sunday morning gatherings.  Jennifer serves as the Nursery Director.  Read Justin's Blog.

Jeff & Brenda Rushe' - Elders / Church Treasurer / Small Group Leaders

Jeff and Brenda Rushe' have been at New Point since December of 2005.  Jeff leads "The Journey" small group study.  Brenda serves as a teacher for the Wednesday night Boys & Girls Club.  Jeff and Brenda were set forth as elders in 2007.  They have one daughter Jessica.

Mitch & Lawren Hadden - Elders / Small Group Leaders

Mitch and Lawren have been at New Point since February of 2006.  They host the "Married Life" small group study in their home on Tuesday evenings.  Mitch serves as a worship leader with our band on Sunday and serves as the Media Coordinator.  Lawren is an elementary school teacher and is active in the nursery ministry as well.  Mitch and Lawren were set forth as elders in 2007.

Rachel Ponder - Kidpoint's Director

Rachel has been with New Point since 2006.  Rachel has previously served with the New Point band.  In January of 2008 Rachel stepped into the director's position for our Kidpoint Ministry.  Rachel is currently pursuing a degree in Nursing from Valdosta State University.
